Professional and emerging artists, artist teams and collectives are invited to propose an original treatment for a life-size fiberglass cow sculpture. Local and regional artists are strongly encouraged to apply. Like the bull of Wall Street, each DeKalb cow will tell a unique story and be displayed in a prominent location with a contextual marker explaining the artistic expression. The cow also honors DeKalb County’s early history as the “Dairy Capital of Georgia.”
